The Role

Are you an experienced Business Analyst with a real appreciation for the strategic drivers for large and complex projects? Are you capable of supporting not only your own projects, but also mentoring colleagues to deliver a range of projects that are critical to our achieving the ambitious aims of our “Making What Matters Brilliant” corporate strategy?

As our Senior Business Analyst, you’ll be the strategic thinker in our Business Analyst team - developing relationships with senior stakeholders to understand the business environment and our organisational goals. You’ll work closely with the business to shape and form projects, creating the vision and scope for larger change transformation whilst supporting larger and more complex projects throughout their lifecycle.  

Projects that you will be instrumental in supporting include, but aren’t limited to:

  • Unified Comms - A key objective of this project is to unlock greater productivity through multiple technologies via a Unified Communication platform, allowing our employees within and across teams to work together seamlessly and allow our business to evolve.
  • Smart Working – This project will develop and deliver a workplace strategy to support smarter working and enable collaboration connecting people, place and service delivery in the field.
  • CCTV - The purpose of the project is to define the future strategy and operational model for CCTV to ensure we have a defined a business led solution (over technology), that we can manage, monitor and fits our future needs.

Our Ideal Candidate? You’ll hold a relevant Degree, professional qualification (e.g. a Business Analysis Diploma) or equivalent experience. You’ll be able to demonstrate experience of working on multiple largescale projects throughout the project lifecycle, working teams within both a Waterfall and an Agile environment. A head for business strategy is vital, so you’ll demonstrate a proven track record of working at a strategic level to support the business to understand the direction of some of the larger projects. Importantly, you’ll have the people skills needed to mentor and support junior colleagues to promote a quality PMO delivery.
