The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Contract Delivery Surveyor to join a newly formed Special Projects team. We are looking for an individual who can work comfortably in a fast paced environment with excellent communication skills, the ability to adapt to using new systems as well as a competent user of Microsoft packages specifically Excel and Word.

You’ll have the opportunity to work on a vast array of interesting projects which can boost your experience as a Surveyor including working with listed buildings, insurance works, fire risk assessment and structural works.

You must have experience within the social housing sector and in completing disrepair surveys. With the ability to produce reports that recommend effective methods to carry out remedial works, using the NHF (National Housing Federation) schedule of rates. As well as a higher level qualification such as HNC or Building Surveying degree.

It goes without saying that you’ll have excellent supervisory and technical ability, with good construction knowledge, including Health & Safety legislation, fire safety, CDM Regulations. You will have proven experience of financial control.

You must have a valid driving license, as a company vehicle will be supplied.
