The Role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to play a key role in delivering our vision of building new homes for social and affordable rent. You will play a pivotal role in delivering against our ambitious target of developing 600 new homes per year, focussing on working towards 3,000 completions by March 2024 as part of a motivated team.

Within this role you’ll focus on managing high quality construction of new homes for Midland Heart, ensuring compliance to statutory and contractual requirements. You will support the development process, liaising with Business Development colleagues in the pre-construction phase, through to project managing in the construction phases, maintaining track of key milestones and funding, whilst ensuring effective communication and updates with all stakeholders.

For this role you’ll demonstrate experience in leading complex development and construction projects, ideally supported by a construction or housing related qualification. Importantly, we are looking for candidates who have knowledge of construction contracts and construction contact law. You’ll have strong stakeholder management skills, able to lead and motivate others and an ability to drive continuous improvement.
