The Role
We're currently recruiting for a Senior Support Officer to join our Independent Living function at Saltbrook Place in Dudley, until September 2025. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Team Leader who is passionate about helping vulnerable individuals within the community.
As a Senior Support Officer you will be leading the front-line team in our services. You will be providing support and advice to a team of Support Workers whilst ensuring our customers' everyday needs are being met. You will also oversee the delivery of commissioned services within the Scheme.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Lead a team providing contracted support services to vulnerable individuals.
- Carry out regular 1-to-1s with your team to help ensure the best service possible for our customers.
- Provide support to customers around accessing health services and employment.
- Oversee support plans that are put in place with customers.
- Engage with homeless services and liaise with the Intensive-Housing Management team when necessary.
Our ideal candidate?
- You'll have extensive experience providing support to vulnerable indiviuals facing homelessness or a relevant qualification to demonstrate your knowledge.
- You'll also have previous experience of leading a team to deliver positive outcomes.
- Finally, you'll be able to demonstrate resilliance when faced with challenging circumstances.
