The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Retrofit Contract Manager to join the Assets team, where you'll be at the forefront of our mission to enhance the energy efficiency of our Tenant's properties, ensuring they remain places they are proud to call home.
Please note - we have multiple opportunities available and will be recruiting for a Contract Manager for both the Pre-contract and Post-Contract stage.
Utilising your contract management skills and financial acumen, you’ll manage planned / cyclical capital revenue projects and maintenance services, delivered through key multi-million pound contracts. Your role will be key in communicating with our tenants and ensuring services are delivered in a timely, cost effective, tenant focused and safe manner. You’ll be accountable for financial management of multiple contracts and projects, delivering annual budgets and revenue projects whilst building strong professional relationships with colleagues across the organisation, including finance and procurement.
You’ll also lead and manage the performance and development of Trainee Contract Managers in your team, using your expertise to guide them as needed.
Our ideal candidate? your CV and covering letter will highlight the following:
- You'll hold a relevant HNC or equivalent and/or possess significant technical experience in construction or maintenance related contract management.
- You’ll have proven experience of compliance legislation and strong knowledge of contract law.
- You will be an excellent people manager, with a proven ability to lead and motivate your team to achieve challenging targets and objectives, using your excellent communication skills and ability to build strong professional relationships.
- You will have experience managing budgets and completing the associated financial administration.
