The Role

Are you highly organised, driven and multi skilled? If you thrive in a fast-paced work environment and are capable and motivated to plan, service and project manage large scale conferences and events, this is a great opportunity for you. We’re looking for a proactive Event Specialist to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract who will take the lead our corporate colleague events, including our all-colleague conference in October 2025.

As Event Specialist you will be responsible for ensuring we continue to deliver high quality, high-profile corporate events, working with a wide range of stakeholders to bring our brand to life across the organisation, empower our colleagues and enable us to deliver our ambitious plans which put our tenants at heart. You’ll also collaborate with the wider team to source and create engaging content for our internal communication channels that connects with colleagues at all levels and encourages positive event participation.

Our ideal candidate? Your application will demonstrate that you have:

  • Achieved a degree level qualification in Events Management, or related subject. Or, have equivalent professional experience in this field.
  • Experience of planning and leading the delivery multiple large-scale events for a large and complex organisation, from start to finish.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement/management experience, having engaged stakeholders in the planning and delivery of corporate events.
  • A solution focused mindset with the ability to come up with creative, scalable ideas at pace.

As a smart working organisation, you can expect a balance of working from the office and from home. Typically, you’ll be working from the office 3 days per week and 2 days per week from home.
