The Role

Are you a people-focussed communications professional who enjoys working at pace and committed to helping your colleagues connect? If so, we’re looking for a proactive Colleague Communications Officer with a track record of producing impactful content that supports a first-class experience for colleagues every day, to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

As our Colleague Communications Officer, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to colleagues at all levels and across all functions within our organisation; working closely and collaboratively with them to shape and communicate key messages. You’ll lead on the planning, execution and evaluation of creative and engaging internal communications, campaigns, engagement activities and events that educate, empower and connect our people – providing them with the insight and knowledge needed to best support our tenants and help to build our reputation as a great place to work.

Our ideal candidate? Your application will demonstrate that you have:

  • Achieved a Degree level qualification in a Marketing, Communications, Media or Journalism related subject or have equivalent experience in Internal Communications.
  • Demonstrable experience of producing corporate communication materials (e.g. blogs, newsletters, briefings, presentations, reports etc.) tailored to a range of channels and audiences.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement/management experience, having engaged stakeholders in the planning and delivery of internal communication campaigns.
  • Experience of utilising various communications related applications and software.

As a smart working organisation, you can expect a balance of working from the office and from home. Typically, you’ll be working from the office 3 days per week and 2 days per week from home.
