The Role
We are seeking skilled and proactive Contract Delivery Surveyor to join our Property Investment team. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to extend their experience in property maintenance at a leading Housing Association.
In this role, you will support the effective delivery of contracted maintenance services for planned works, ensuring they are completed to a high standard in a timely and cost effective manner. You will also undertake key building surveys to Midland Hearts portfolio for condition and validation of programmed works.
You’ll also be accountable for financial monitoring of multiple works orders and projects, whilst building strong professional relationships with tenants, colleagues across the organisation and suppliers externally.
Our ideal candidate? Your CV and covering letter will highlight the following:
- A HNC or equivalent qualification in a building or construction related discipline.
- An outline of your experience in planned maintenance.
- Experience of financial reporting and administration checking invoices, raising purchase orders, scrutinising payments, reviewing valuations etc.
- Experience using a range of systems, specifically the use of Microsoft Excel.
Please be advised that, due to the nature of this role, applicants must be able to demonstrate their ability to regularly travel across the Midland Heart geography.
