The Role

We've an exciting opportunity to join our In-house Maintenance Team as a Trade Apprentice Supervisor. This is a brand new role taked with supporting our Multi-Trade and Electrical Apprentices to ensure their professional growth and that they're contributing to a seamless first-class responsive repairs service. 

Your responsibilities would include, but wouldn’t be limited to:

  • Supporting and mentoring our Trade Apprentices as they build the skills, knowledge and experience needed to achieve qualified Multi-trade Operative or Electrician status.  
  • The effective management of a multi-disciplined team of Trade Operatives, Contractors and self-employed operatives - covering responsive repairs, disrepair, FRA actions, aids and adaptations and special projects across the Midlands region.
  • Ensuring that our homes remain places that our customers are proud to call home - frequently inspecting works to ensure their carried out to a high-standard.

Our ideal candidate? It goes without saying that you’ll have excellent supervisory experience within a property maintenance environment. This will include a track record of supporting, upskilling and developing trades-people in the early stages of their career. You’ll also have technical property maintenance and financial management experience, coupled with good construction knowledge, including quality standards, Health & Safety legislation, fire safety, and Construction Design Management Regulations.
