The Role

We’re seeking a Stock & Energy Efficiency Intelligence Manager to join our Property Investment team – a key role in ensuring that our sector leading housing association has the data needed to optimise the performance of our homes from both an energy and financial perspective.

With responsibility for leading a team of mobile Surveyors, you’ll ensure that robust, accurate and complete stock quality intelligence data is collected and managed, to support the optimisation of our portfolio performance. You’ll use this data to formulate cyclical and capital work programmes (5, 10 and 30 year), aligned to our general needs, retirement and independent living strategies to maximise return.

Importantly, you’ll also analyse and evaluate the energy efficiency and heat space performance data of our properties – working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure EPCs are carried out and related information is recorded accurately and robustly.

We’re on a journey to modernise our homes with ambitious targets to achieve, offering you the opportunity to drive meaningful investment decisions that ensure our customers are proud to call our properties home!

Our ideal candidate? The role would suit a data driven individual with excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as a can-do attitude. You’ll also demonstrate the following knowledge and experience:

  • You’ll hold a qualification at HND/Degree level in a relevant subject area or equivalent experience.
  • You’ll have significant experience of undertaking stock and EPC modelling, applying data analysis using Keystone, Northgate, Intelligent Energy systems, Excel and PowerBi.
  • You’ll also have a strong awareness of standards and quality compliance requirements including Decent Homes, PAS 2035:2019 and Building Regulations.
  • You’ll have experience of leading, developing and motivating a team.
  • You’ll have experience of engaging with stakeholders at all levels, with the ability to share findings and influence outcomes effectively.

To maintain effective relationships with your team and stakeholders across the organisation, you can expect to work from our Birmingham, Bath Row office 3 days per week, although this may vary depending on business needs.
