The Role

If you have a background in administration, an interest in property and the desire for a fresh new challenge then look no further! We’re seeking a Sales Administrator to join our friendly and supportive Sales & Marketing team until December 2024 on a Fixed-term Contract / Secondment basis.

In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers with initial home sales enquiries, both via email and phone, as well as providing a full range of administrative support across the wider Development team. This is a fast-paced role, typically handling 150+ sales leads per month!

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Monitoring the Sales lead inbox and maintenance of the centralised lead database.
  • Processing Property Addition forms, typically inputting data between 20-30 forms per month.
  • Speaking in a professional manner to customers on inbound and outbound calls, providing accurate information, resolving queries and maintaining relationships with customers to the point of reservation.
  • Marketing and advertising of properties.
  • Checking customer registration details, including affordability assessments.
  • Processing our utility and council tax bills and completion letters.
  • Producing internal/external reports.

We’re happy to offer this role based from either our East Midlands Hub (Hinckley) or Birmingham, Bath Row site. To maintain relationships with the wider Development team, you can expect to spend three days a week working from a Midland Heart site and two days working remotely from home.

  • Previous experience of providing a broad range of administrative support, with the ability to deal with a high volume of emails, web enquiries and phone calls.
  • Excellent telephone manner and the resilience to effectively to deal with difficult and challenging individuals over the telephone in a positive manner.
  • IT skills with experience of using Microsoft Office packages and in-house systems.
