The Role

Due to a recent promotion in the team, we’re seeking an Estates Officer to help deliver a high-quality estate management service to our customers to ensure their property is one they’re proud to call home.

This role will cover a property portfolio in Coventry and it’s surrounding areas, so a Driver’s license is essential.

Your role will be to deliver a high-quality estate management service that reduces the risk of harm to residents, damage to our assets and tenancy failure, through professional and timely interventions.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee the management of all communal and non-communal spaces with a focus on safety and performance, managing our contracts
  • Proactively manage abandonments, pest and vermin treatments and estate improvements
  • Oversee Health and Safety functions including managing emergency response plans and fire risk actions
  • Form effective relationships with customers to maximise the duration of their tenancy from sign-up to termination
  • Collaborate with customers in order to shape, develop and continually improve our services

Our Ideal Candidate? You’ll have experience of working in a customer service and / or housing management setting, with a proven focus on delivering an excellent customer experience, in-line with housing and other relevant legislation. Prioritising a busy workload is key in this role so you’ll also have excellent organisational skills. In addition, you’ll have a high level of written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills. You’ll be required to travel, either holding a driving licence or evidence of the ability to travel throughout the area of operation.
