Are you a driven Part-Qualified Accountant with an interest service charges? If you’re interested in developing your career with a sector leading people focussed organisation, then we’ve got a great opportunity for you to join us as an Assistant Service Charge Accountant.

Reporting to the Service Charge Accountant, you’ll be working with them to prepare all service charge statements and assisting with related queries. You’ll seek opportunities to continuously improve the process of producing service charge statements. This is a great opportunity to work in an ambitious team with a wealth of experience, where you’ll gain exposure to a range of processes and systems.

Our ideal candidate? 

• You’ll be a Part Qualified Accountant (AAT or equivalent), with a basic understanding of Service Charges
• You’ll have previous work experience in a finance-based role
• You’ll be able to demonstrate strong Excel skills (Vlookups, Sumif, Pivot Tables)
• Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships internally and externally is key to this role so good communication is a must.

In this role, you can expect a balance of working from home and from our Birmingham, Bath Row office – typically 3 days working from home, and 2 days in the office.
