As a Contract Manager (Gas) you’ll drive the effective management and delivery of gas compliance, installation, repair services for both domestic and commercial installations through the contracted supply chain; you’ll build strong working relationships with our suppliers to ensure we’re receiving value for money, that works are carried out within contract SLAs and KPIs and that services are delivered in a timely, customer focused, safe manner.

This is also an exciting opportunity to manage a small, highly professional team of Contract Delivery Surveyors, with responsibility for driving their performance and development to ensure a high-quality service is provided at all times.

The Building Safety team are proud of the high standards they achieve – despite the challenges of the pandemic, we continued to achieve 100% Statutory gas compliance. Apply now to be a key member of a team committed to ensuring our homes are safe places now and into the future!

Our Ideal Candidate? We’re looking for a professional and credible individual, who is passionate about driving a brilliant service from our contracted supply chain. You’ll also demonstrate the following skills and experience:

We’re a smart working organisation which means you can expect a balance of working from our Central Birmingham office (typically 3 days a week) and working from home. The role also includes occasional travel to properties across the Midland Heart portfolio - please be advised that, due to the nature of this role, applicants must hold a full valid driving license and have access to a vehicle for business use.
