The Role

We're looking for a Building Safety Administrator to join our Building Safety team on a Fixed-term Contract for 10 months. You’ll provide full administrative support across building maintenance, safety and compliance services, ensuring that our homes meet the highest safety standards, both now and into the future.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to Fire Safety related queries from internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensuring that all relevant certification is provided for all works completed by contractors
  • Processing of certification, orders, invoices and other contract documentation/data
  • Preparing and issuing legal letters
  • Inputting data and management of digital records – ensuring all information held is accurate and up to date.

This is a fast-paced and varied role where no two days are the same so you can expect you’ll also lend administrative support across other areas of Building Safety/Compliance as and when needed.

In return, we offer a supportive and collaborative environment where you can gain invaluable exposure to housing operations, as well as actively contribute to business-critical activities. We have a strong track record of investing in our people too, which means we’ll support you to gain the skills you need to develop your career with us.

Our ideal candidate?

  • Excellent IT skills, particularly Excel, with experience using a range of Microsoft packages and in-house systems
  • Detail orientated, with the ability to manage your own workload effectively, as well as working collaboratively with the wider team
  • Importantly, you should have a real customer focus, with one eye always fixed firmly on how we can improve our operations to better serve our communities.
  • We’re a Smart Working organisation so you can expect a balance of working from our Birmingham Bath Row office, and remotely from home.
