The Role

Are you a keen problem solver who enjoys delivering great customer service? If so, we‘ve an exciting opportunity for a people-focussed individual to join us as a Retirement Living Officer on a 35 hour per week, fixed-term basis until January 2023.

You’ll cover two thriving Retirement Living schemes in North Birmingham. Four days per week will be spent at Ralph Barlow Gardens, which is a larger, newly refurbished, and bustling community. One day per week will be spent at Sampson Close, which is a smaller, tight-knit community who enjoy nothing more than making all who work in and visit the scheme feel welcome.   

As a Retirement Living Officer you’ll be:

  • Delivering high quality housing management services, using your knowledge of compliance and safety.
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with our customers, interacting with them regularly to ensure key messages are delivered.
  • Ensuring that you understand our customers’ needs is important in this role, being empathetic and interacting with them positively.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of working with older customers in Housing management context / residential setting.
  • Knowledge and experience of managing compliance including building safety, safeguarding, fire safety and health and safety.
