The Role

Are you an experienced training and development professional seeking an opportunity to join a high-performing Talent function that aims to be a thought leader, both in and out of our sector? Want to take ownership for designing and delivering development packages that’ll make a real positive difference to the experience of our colleagues and customers alike?

As a Training & Development Specialist, your main focus will be the design, delivery and assessment of colleague development packages that upskill and empower our colleagues to deliver a truly brilliant service to our customers. You’ll provide continuing development and support for our frontline, customer facing colleagues; facilitating induction training for new colleagues and ensuring the on-going development of existing colleagues through training and coaching.

Importantly you’ll support the evaluation of development programmes and their impact on the behaviours and performance of our colleagues; seeing the positive influence of your work spread across our organisation.

Our ideal candidate? You’ll be experienced in designing and delivering creative and engaging digital and classroom-based learning and development packages, tailored to meet the needs of a diverse organisation. Importantly, you’ll demonstrate excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities; with a talent for engaging colleagues not just through your delivery of training, but also in its design and development. You’ll also be passionate about your own career development, with a genuine desire to support and broaden you experience in our wider Talent function.
