We’ve two opportunities for Dialler Income Officers to join our Income team in Central Birmingham, where you’ll provide vital support to our Rent Repayment Officers. We’re recruiting on a full time, fixed term / secondment basis for 6 months - you’ll work flexibly Monday to Friday, on a shift/rota between 8am-6pm.
Customer service is key in this role as you’ll be the first point of contact for customers via inbound and outbound calls, email and SMS. You’ll utilise your interpersonal skills to negotiate the repayment of low-level rent debt with customers – you’ll be mindful of customers personal circumstances at all times, with the aim of maximising our income whilst providing customers with a first-class service.

The key to success will be your excellent interpersonal skills, which you’ll use to quickly establish and maintain good working relationships with customers & stakeholders at all levels. An understanding of the benefits system or housing debt/arrears, along with a desire to resolve problems and help customers to sustain their tenancy, is a must!
