The Role

Are you a finance professional, capable of leading a small team and proactively engaging and challenging key business stakeholders - supporting them to make strategically important decisions based on robust financial information?

Joining our Commercial Finance Team, you’ll be front and centre in updating key stakeholders on our organisation’s monthly financial performance and that of our strategically important Project Programme. You’ll play a lead role in the production of comprehensive management accounts and insightful commentary for our Board, Executive Directors and other stakeholders, including monthly management reports for our Project Programme Board. 

Working closely with our Transformation Team and Head of Projects, you’ll also take ownership for completion of budgets and monthly forecasts for projects, as well as leading on the preparation of centralised cost budgets.

Our ideal candidate? You’ll be a qualified accountant (ACMA, ACCA, ACA or CA) with proven experience of preparing management accounts, budgets and forecasts in a commercially driven environment. Importantly, you’ll have a track record of being a people manager – having successfully led a team in the delivery of exceptional management information to facilitate strategically important decisions. It therefore goes without saying, that first class management abilities, with the ability to challenge appropriately are a must have.
