The Role

Are you able to interact with a variety of stakeholders and deliver great customer service, whilst managing multiple priorities? If yes, apply now to join us as a Leasehold Property & Retirement Living Officer, where you’ll provide high quality Leasehold support, and ensure regulatory and contractual compliance is maintained across our schemes. The ability and willingness to travel to schemes in Coventry, the West Midlands and our Birmingham Bath Row office is essential!

In this customer facing role, you’ll utilise your organised and detailed approach to efficiently respond to legal matters including leasehold enquiries from current or prospective customers, screening customers looking to purchase leasehold properties, instructing and liaising with Solicitors on the sale of properties, setting budgets for Service Charges and presenting financial accounts.

You’ll also spend at least one day a week supporting two Retirement Leasehold Schemes in Coventry – Brentwood Gardens and Willowmeer. You’ll carry out regular service audits including building safety checks and managing building repairs, ensuring customers are communicated to and all matters are dealt with effectively. Ensuring that you understand our customers’ needs is really important in this role, being empathetic and interacting with them positively.

Our ideal candidate? It goes without saying you’ll have the aptitude to respond to a variety of legal leasehold matters, as well as knowledge of compliance and safety. You’ll have a strong customer focussed approach, with financial understanding and the ability to manage budgets. Being able to adapt to changing priorities and work to tight deadlines is key to this role, by remaining organised and resilient under pressure. Working with others and being able to communicate effectively is a must, being able to understand the needs of customers and applying your great problem-solving skills.
