The Role

Resulting from some recent internal promotions, we’re seeking 2 x Assistant Management Accountants to support the impressive financial performance of our c.£195million turnover, sector leading organisation.

Supported by a highly professional Finance team, you will be responsible for a range of activities including accurate posting of standard and project ledger journals and accruals and prepayments; the preparation of accurate monthly management accounts; contributing to the budget setting and monthly forecasting processes; as well as attendance at budget manager meetings to present financial information and ensure robust and accurate budget monitoring.

You’ll also get the access to a range of development opportunities, including leadership development programmes, professional coaching and the opportunity to work with the wider finance function to further develop your accounting skill set.    

Our ideal candidate? You’ll be part or fully qualified Accountant or Accounting Technician (AAT / ACMA / ACCA / ACA / CA). Your application will highlight your experience of supporting the preparation of management accounts including journals posting and balance sheet reconciliation. You’ll also prove a strong attention to detail and an ability to communicate financial information in an easy to understand way to non-finance colleagues. It goes without saying that you’ll be able to demonstrate your strong Excel skills (Vlookups, Sumif, Pivot Tables etc.), right from the assessment stage.
