The Role

A high standard of health, safety and compliance is central to strengthening our position as a sector leading landlord and it is our customers’ number one priority. To ensure our homes continue to be places where people want to live, we’re seeking a Site Compliance Manager to oversee the health and safety delivery of our building maintenance services to a diverse range of our customers.

You’ll work as part of the in-house maintenance team to manage, monitor and improve the health and safety standards within our workplace, ensuring it is legislatively compliant and meets organisational standards. You’ll work closely with the central Health & Safety team to support investigations on near-miss events and accidents to ensure effective corrective action is taken including annual reviews. Keeping on top of changes in legislation and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement is integral to this role.

Our ideal candidate will have proven experience of working within a regulated environment, able to understand and practically apply regulatory health and safety frameworks relating to building construction in the workplace. You’ll also have a good working knowledge of the housing maintenance sector, be a member of IOSH and qualified to NEBOSH general certificate standard as minimum, or working towards it. You’ll have experience of leading geographically dispersed teams of people, able to communicate effectively and simplify complex information with ease, as well as being able to influence and constructively challenge others. Being customer focussed and driven to improve the customer experience is key to this role.
