The Role

We’ve got an exciting opportunity for a Leasehold & Retirement Living Officer to join our Mutual and Leasehold Team, within our Retirement Living team to provide high quality leasehold support and ensure regulatory and contractual compliance is maintained across a patch of our retirement leasehold schemes.

This is a full-time role, with 17.5 hours dedicated to providing day to day support at two Coventry schemes, and the other 17.5 hours dedicated to providing leasehold services to six other schemes across the West Midlands. The ability to travel between all the schemes is essential.

You’ll be ensuring services are effectively running through regular service audits, whilst developing positive working relationships with our customers, ensuring they are communicated to effectively and all matters are dealt with effectively. You’ll oversee the management of planned programmes of work, ensuring high quality and compliance is delivered. You’ll undertake compliance checks in relation to Fire Risk and Health & Safety, ensuring they are complete in a timely manner and to high standard.  You’ll ensure that our customers are consulted about services and works where applicable.

You’ll be an organised and motivated individual who is able to solve problems using your initiative, driven to provide a first-class service, working within a fast-paced environment.  You’ll demonstrate an ability to learn and understand the laws and tenures associated with leasehold property. You’ll understand building management and compliance, and demonstrable experience with managing budgets, whilst delivering a customer focussed service in order to develop working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You’ll be able to manage competing demands and work well under pressure.
