The Role

Are you an experienced Learning & Development professional seeking a part-time role opportunity to broaden your experience of Talent development and management? Want to join a Talent function that aims to be a thought leader, both in and out of its sector?

As a Learning & Development Advisor, your main focus will be the design and delivery of learning packages that ensure that our colleagues have the knowledge and skills needed to work safely and drive forward our ambitious corporate strategy. You’ll work with leaders from across our organisation; gathering learning requirements and translating these into effective digital or classroom-based courses tailored to individual teams, or to be rolled out to the whole organisation. You’ll also broaden you experience beyond Learning & Development – supporting our Resourcing and Organisational Development teams to recruit new talent and embed our organisation’s values and behaviours, as and when required.

This role will be contracted on a part-time, 22.5 hours per week basis and we’re happy to discuss a working pattern that works for you.

Our ideal candidate? You’ll be experienced in designing and delivering creative and engaging digital and classroom-based learning and development packages, tailored to meet the needs of a diverse organisation. Importantly, you’ll demonstrate excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities; with a talent for engaging colleagues not just through your delivery of training, but also in its design and development. You’ll also be passionate about your own career development, with a genuine desire to support and broaden you experience in our wider Talent function.

Who are Midland Heart? We’re a large and ambitious housing organisation providing more people an affordable place to call home.
