The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Housing Administrator to join our Retirement Living Team, to support service delivery through high quality administration. This is a part time role for 20 hours per week working across our three Dudley schemes. This is a 6-month fixed term contract covering maternity leave.

Your role will cover administrative duties at our Dudley services: Lime Gardens (B63 2DQ), Broadmeadow (DY1 2GP) and Willowfields (WV14 8HF). You’ll be required to undertake regular travel to these services, with your hours being split evenly across these sites. There is flexibility in the days that can be worked which we’re happy to discuss individually.

You’ll provide housing administration across the geography of our services, working as part of the team to ensure a high standard of service in delivered and maintained, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and deadlines are met. You’ll support the auditing of services and provide accurate data to produce detailed reports. You’ll respond to customer enquiries, signposting as required, as well as arranging quarterly care contract meetings, taking minutes and completing action logs.

Our ideal candidate? You’ll have demonstrable experience of providing administrative support, including data entry and producing written correspondence. Proven experience of working within a housing related environment and understanding housing practice is key, with knowledge of social housing and a landlords function. Computer literacy is required as well as being a well organised and detailed orientated individual who is able to adapt to changing priorities and meet tight deadlines. You’ll use your customer focussed approach and excellent communication skills to support us in delivering our Making What Matters Brilliant corporate strategy.
