The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Cook to join our School Court scheme in Hednesford, Staffordshire.
As a Cook, you are required to provide good home cooked meals to our residents, working under instruction as well as using your own initiative. You'll be responsible for menu planning specific to scheme requirements and liaising all changes with the Catering Manager. This role is for 16 hours per week, including alternate weekends.
Our Ideal Candidate? We are looking for people who:
- Experience of working in catering service
- Have a Food Safety Level 2 qualification – or must be obtained within 6 months of employment
- Basic IT skills to be able to complete on-line shopping orders and raise purchase orders.
- Are highly motivated to develop self and others for consistent quality service delivery
