The Role

We now have a fantastic opportunity for a part-time Domestic to join our Facilities Team at our Head Offices on Bath Row, central Birmingham.

This role is for 10 hours per week, working 5.30pm-7.30pm from Monday to Friday and some flexibility will be required with the working hours. This is a fixed term role for 6 months.

Our Bath Row offices accommodate around 300 employees working across 4 floors. Working as part of a friendly and experienced team, you will be responsible for cleaning communal areas, rest rooms, kitchens, meeting rooms and general office space.

Our ideal candidate? Health and safety is important to us, so it goes without saying that you will have some basic health and safety knowledge. You will have good timekeeping skills and be happy to work in line with an agreed cleaning rota. You will be comfortable working on your own or in pairs, and enjoy having responsibility for your own area each shift.

Ideally you will also have experience of cleaning a similar office environment, but that’s not essential. More importantly, you will strive to provide an excellent domestic service to your customers at Bath Row and have the ability to work well as a wider team (including picking up overtime to cover other members of the team as and when required).

Who are Midland Heart? We’re a large and ambitious housing organisation providing more people an affordable place to call home. We welcome people from every walk of life, at every stage of their career. We expect a lot from our people but in return you can be assured of a great place to work, where you will be well rewarded and where great people are able to succeed. Whether you want to build your career with us, or use your experience to move on, we’re here to develop your potential.
