The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for two Intensive Housing Management Officers to join our Supported Living team. You’ll deliver an excellent housing management service to our customers, developing professional relationships with our customers.

We have two part time roles for 19.5 hours per week each, one is permanent based at Muirhead Hosue and the other is a fixed term contract until March 2020 based at The Foyer, both roles are Birmingham based.

Within this role, you’ll provide a high quality customer service to The Foyer, enabling vulnerable people to sustain a tenancy and to achieve independent living, whilst managing anti-social behaviour. You’ll work with internal and external stakeholders to signpost and ensure the safety of our customers. You’ll be involved with ensuring rent arrears are manged effectively and formulating payment plans to assist the customer.

Our ideal candidate? You’ll be able to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and have the ability to diffuse any given situation. You’ll be able to deal with people in an assertive, fair and consistent manner, and work on your own initiative.  An understanding of homelessness and issues which come with it is key, as well as experience within housing management and supporting individuals or families with housing.
