The Role

 We’re seeking a Contract Delivery Surveyor join us on a permanent basis to support the delivery of high quality contracted repairs and installation services to our assets’ Fire and other Life Safety Electrical systems, including fire alarms, emergency lighting, warden call systems, Door Entry access and CCTV systems.

Working closely with the wider Midland Heart team and contractors, you’ll ensure that challenging operational objectives and KPIs are achieved in a legislatively compliant, timely, cost effective and customer focused manner at all times. On a daily basis you’ll demonstrate a dedication to achieving compliance performance and achieving targets for respective contracts; relishing the opportunity to gain value for money whilst ensuring customers are provided with a seamless high quality service.

Our ideal candidates? You’ll hold a recognised building / M&E or supervisory site management related qualification, or equivalent level of expertise demonstrated through significant work experience. We’re seeking technically strong individuals with a sound knowledge of building life safety electrical systems including fire alarms/prevention, emergency lighting, door entry/access and CCTV as well as an understanding of quality standards, building regulations and planning requirements needed to identify building defects and their remedies. Joining a people focused organisation, it goes without saying that you’ll be a team player with excellent communication skills and a can do attitude.
