The Role

We’ve an exciting opportunity for an Income Manager to join the Housing Operations team, focussing on supporting our team of Income Officers who are office based and deal with inbound & outbound calls for the wider Income Team.

You’ll be one of two Income Managers in the team, where you’ll be coaching and carrying out one to ones with the team, motivating and leading the team effectively. You’ll also be promoting tenancy sustainability, to ensure that your team provide welfare and benefit advice and identify support needs. A key focus for this role will be coaching the team and ensuring continuous improvement, including call quality and performance.

Availability will be required Monday – Saturday, from 8:00am – 6:00pm.

Our ideal candidate? You’ll be a committed and customer focused individual, ideally with a knowledge of arrears collection procedures within a housing association as well as welfare reform, negotiating and collecting debt. You’ll have experience of coaching/managing a team, enhancing performance and managing challenging situations effectively. Being able to motivate, support and coach a team are essential to this role – communication is key.
