The Role

Are you a fire safety professional with a drive to continuously improve fire risk management? We’ve got a great opportunity for a Fire Risk Assessor to join our Building Safety team, within a housing association that places the safety of tenants at the heart of our operations.

You’ll be undertaking Fire Risk Assessments, maintaining organisational and legislative compliance, to support the delivery of our Fire Risk Management Programme. You’ll focus on highlighting ways to enhance fire safety and offering appropriate solutions. Within this role, you’ll liaise with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring you are aware and up to date on building designs, tenancy issues and technical solutions which may impact the fire risk assessment of our buildings.

Our ideal candidate will hold, or be committed to obtaining, IFE membership and have a relevant fire risk assessment qualification or demonstrable experience in relation to complex buildings. You’ll have proven experience in fire risk assessment management and building management. You’ll have excellent problem solving skills and analytical ability in order to implement effective solutions. Working with a range of stakeholders and holding excellent communication skills is key to this role.
