The Role

We’re looking for a committed and enthusiastic Housing Support Officer to join our Supported Living service, Rolfe House in Birmingham.

Reporting to the Services Manager, you’ll be providing support to our customers so they can support themselves and successfully live independently and maintain this overtime.  You’ll be providing guidance on a range of areas, including tenancy, welfare and employment, and signposting customers to internal and external support available. You’ll play a key role in interacting with our customers and communicating effectively.

You will be working an average of 32 hours a week on a rota that will require you to do regular weekend and evening work.

You’ll have experience in a housing management environment, including working with socially excluded groups. You’ll be able to demonstrate your knowledge of health and safety within supported living. You’ll have excellent communication skills and be able to work with a range of customers and stakeholders, whilst balancing your workload effectively.
