The Role

Do you want to work for an organisation that makes a real difference to the communities that we support? We now have a fantastic opportunity for a part time Scheme Assistants, for 15 hours per week , to join our Berryhill Village based in Stoke-on Trent.

As a Scheme Assistant you will support meal times by taking orders, serving and cleaning alongside the kitchen staff. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment and ensuring high standards of cleanliness. You will also be responsible for ordering, monitoring and rotation of cleaning materials to ensure all communal areas are cleaned to a high standard.

We are looking for people with:

•Minimum of Food Safety Level 2 qualification or must be obtained within the first 6 months of employment.

•Basic health and safety training and knowledge of using domestic cleaning equipment.

•The ability to work as part of a team and communicate in a pleasant manner with a diverse range of people is vital in this role.
