Salary - £27,301 per annum

Hours - 35 hours per week

We’re seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join our team on a 6 month fixed-term contract, to support the impressive financial performance of our c.£190million turnover, sector leading organisation.

With the support of a highly professional team, your responsibilities will cover a range of activities including the preparation of accurate monthly management accounts, contributing to the budget setting and monthly forecasting processes, as well as attendance at budget manager meetings to present financial information and ensure robust and accurate budget monitoring.

In return we’ll support your growth as a finance professional – providing a range of formal and informal development opportunities including professional training, coaching and the opportunity to work with the wider finance function to further develop your accounting skill set.    

Our ideal candidate? You’ll be part or fully qualified accountant (ACA / CA / ACCA / ACMA), or qualified by experience. Your application will highlight your experience of preparing accurate management accounts, budgeting and report writing. You’ll also prove your ability to communicate financial information in an easy to understand way to non-finance colleagues. It goes without saying that you’ll be able to demonstrate your strong Excel skills (Vlookups, Sumif, Pivot Tables etc.), right from the assessment stage.
