The Role
We’re inviting a Governance Manager to join us on a part-time basis (17.5 hours per week) – a flexible career opportunity that will allow you to support the full range of company secretarial and governance services within a dynamic and fast-paced organisation.
Reporting to our Director of Governance, you’ll provide company secretarial and corporate governance advice and services to colleagues across the Midland Heart group, including our Board, its Sub-committees and our Executive Leadership Team. Responsibilities include, but are by no means limited to working proactively to ensure an organisational awareness of our regulatory obligations, ensuring that relevant records meet all legal and regulatory requirements, as well as overseeing the approval and submission of Regulatory Returns.
In return for your hard work, we’ll provide a flexible working pattern that meets both yours and our organisation needs and a place in a genuinely warm and welcoming team.
Our ideal candidate? You’ll be a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and / or have excellent hands-on experience of providing the full range of company secretarial services. You should be skilled in interpreting legislation and corporate governance guidance and translating these into best practice across our organisation - using your ability to inspire confidence and give concise and persuasive advice to your stakeholders.
Who are Midland Heart? We’re a large and ambitious A1 Rated housing organisation providing more people an affordable place to call home. We welcome people from every walk of life, at every stage of their career. Interested? To apply, please register on our candidate portal and submit a comprehensive CV alongside a cover letter of no more than two pages, clearly explaining how you meet the requirements of this role and which demonstrates your career achievements.
