The Role

We now have a fantastic opportunity for a part-time Domestic to join our Facilities Team at our Head Offices on Bath Row, central Birmingham.

Our Bath Row offices accommodate around 300 employees working across 4 floors. Working as part of a friendly and experienced team, you will be responsible for cleaning communal areas, rest rooms, kitchens, meeting rooms and general office space.

Our ideal candidate? Health and safety is of upmost importance to us, so it goes without saying that you will have some basic health and safety knowledge. You will have good timekeeping skills and be happy to work in line with an agreed cleaning rota. You will be comfortable working on your own or in pairs, and enjoy having responsibility for your own area each shift.

Ideally you will also have experience of cleaning a similar office environment, but that’s not essential. More importantly, you will strive to provide an excellent domestic service to your customers at Bath Row and have the ability to work well as a wider team (including picking up overtime to cover other members of the team as and when required).

Who are Midland Heart? We’re a large and ambitious housing organisation providing more people an affordable place to call home. We welcome people from every walk of life, at every stage of their career. We expect a lot from our people but in return you can be assured of a great place to work, where you will be well rewarded and where great people are able to succeed. Whether you want to build your career with us, or use your experience to move on, we’re here to develop your potential.

Interested? To apply, please register on our candidate portal and submit a comprehensive CV setting out your career history with a cover letter of no more than two pages, clearly explaining how you think you meet the requirements of this role and demonstrating your career achievements.

Applications close at midnight on Sunday 23rd June 2019. Please be advised that we reserve the right to close applications before this date, should the need arise.
