The Role

Want a job that really makes a difference? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Support Worker to join our James Bagnall Foyer Supported Living scheme, based in West Bromwich. Our scheme provides temporary accommodation for people aged 18-64 years with varying support needs, who are willing to engage with employment, education and training opportunities whilst living at the scheme.

The role will involve providing practical, emotional and cognitive support to help our customer achieve their goals, working closely with referring agents, ensuing that the service is allocated promptly. You will undertake risk and needs assessments and support planning in relation to all customers and to actively review and monitor these with customers. This role does involve shift work including weekends and bank holidays.

Our ideal candidate? You'll have experience of working with customers who present with multiple and complex needs. We're looking for enthusiastic, flexible and dedicated individuals who are able to work on their own initiative. Key to this role is a people focused approach, with the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds effectively and diffuse any given situation.
