The Role

Are you passionate about making a difference to people’s lives? Can you work imaginatively and assertively with partner agencies to help our customers sustain their tenancies?

As a People Case Officer you’ll play a pivotal role by managing a caseload of anti-social behaviour, safeguarding and tenancy fraud cases in across the Midlands. This is an exciting role in which no two days will be the same with responsibility for carrying out investigations, working with customers to resolve problems and change behaviour that is impacting on other customers, the community and our assets. You’ll work proactively, making full use of the range of interventions available in order to mitigate risk and sustain tenancies. This is a fast paced role where you will be required to work hard and have fun along the way!

Our ideal candidate? A highly motivated individual with previous experience of complex case management, including dealing with issues such as anti-social behaviour, safeguarding and tenancy fraud. You’ll be a fantastic communicator who really builds trust and negotiates effectively to deliver successful case outcomes, no matter how challenging the situation. You’ll also possess a track record of delivering outstanding customer service whilst identifying and implementing service improvements. You’ll need to demonstrate your ability to work in a fast paced and pressurised environment.

The role requires the post holder to cover a regional area, so the ability to travel across our geography will be an essential part of the role. As such it is essential that you both drive and have access to a car. You’ll also be prepared to work evenings and weekends, if necessary, to deliver business needs. This role is initially for a 6 month fixed term contract.
