The Role

“Off the shelf” software works for many of our competitors however, we believe that our customers and colleagues deserve better. That’s why we have our own newly formed in-house team of highly talented Software Engineers who are at the cutting edge of software development within our sector – creating bespoke software that enables our customers and colleagues to interact with our organisation in new and exciting ways.

Joining our team as a Software Engineer, you’ll work with colleagues across our organisation to define requirements, deliver pragmatic bespoke software solutions and provide support and technical guidance on how these solutions are best used to meet our organization’s needs. You’ll be a member of a highly autonomous, innovative and outcomes focused team which is paving the way and aiming to set a new sector standard in terms of software. You’ll therefore contribute to the definition and implementation of development and quality standards, ensuring all work is delivered in accordance with those standards through the use of appropriate techniques, methodologies and tools.

Our ideal candidate? You’ll be an experience Software Engineer with a degree in computer science or related discipline, formal training in the software development lifecycle, as well as relevant training and/or qualifications in web and mobile development, C#, HTML5, XML, CSS. This experience and qualifications will be complemented by excellent problem solving skills, a passion for delivering an excellent service to our stakeholders and an ability to use judgement to ensure business outcomes are achieved effectively and efficiently.
