The Role

Joining us as a Management Accountant, you’ll not only produce robust and accurate monthly management accounts including variance analysis for designated areas of our organisation, but also identify trends and provide meaningful budget performance feedback and commentary on our financial performance. You will also facilitate forecasting and support the annual budget setting process – ensuring operational managers have the financial information and support required to monitor their spending and contributing towards our maintaining our c.39% operating margin. With line management responsibility for an Assistant Management Accountant, this is also a fantastic opportunity to develop your leadership and team development experience, within a supportive organisation which aims to develop our managers whenever possible.

Our ideal candidate? You’ll be a qualified or part-qualified management (ACA / CA / ACCA / ACMA) or possess significant management accounting experience within a complex organisation. You’ll also demonstrate hands-on experience of producing budgets and management accounts with commentary tailored to various audiences, along with the ability to write clear and concise reports. You’ll be driven, motivated to learn and have a dynamic approach which is adaptable to change - coupled with a proactive approach and ability to use your own initiative.  Importantly you’ll be an honest, open and approachable team player who is willing to take on new challenges and support the wider management accounting team when required.
