The Role

Passionate about delivering new, modernised ways for customers to manage and interact with a service that significantly impacts their quality of life? Or driving projects that streamline business systems and processes to ensure colleagues can provide these services to the highest possible standard?

If so we’re seeking 2 x Project Managers, each specialising in business change, to join our recently formed future-facing Technology & Transformation Team. Playing to your specialism and strengths you’ll drive either a range of business critical, technology enabled projects or business change projects that ensure our organisation remains a market leader.

As an organisation, we’ve heavily invested in the skills and resources needed to deliver our ambitious projects, meaning you’ll be very much part of a project ‘team’ – never sitting more than a few desks away from the project’s technical talent!

Our ideal candidates? We’re keen to meet qualified (Prince2, Agile, APMP or similar) Project Managers with hands-on experience of managing the entire project lifecycle to deliver digital and/or business change projects on-time and within budget. Stakeholder management and the ability to build strong working relationships with project resources and executive sponsors is essential. You’ll therefore demonstrate the ability to maintain clear and concise communication throughout the project life cycle and when required, the ability to influence others and secure co-operation or ‘buy-in’.

As a Transformation Team we embrace change when needed. Hence you should be ready to challenge existing approaches, identify opportunities and suggest improvements that will lead to more effective and efficient ways of working, not only in the delivery of projects but all aspects of work.

Why project manage at Midland Heart?  We’re a large and ambitious housing organisation providing more people an affordable place to call home. We welcome people from every walk of life, at every stage of their career. We expect a lot from our people but in return you can be assured of a great place to work, where you will be well rewarded and where great people are able to succeed. Whether you want to build your career with us, or use your experience to move on, we’re here to develop your potential.

Interested? To apply, please register on our candidate portal and submit a comprehensive CV alongside a cover letter of no more than 2 pages, clearly explaining how you meet the requirements of this role and which demonstrates your career achievements.

Closing date for receipt of completed applications is 4th March 2019 however, suitable candidates will be invited to an assessment shortly after our receipt of their application. We reserve the right to close applications before the above date, should we successfully appoint to all available posts.

Recruitment Agencies please note that we do not accept speculative CVs and should one be submitted, we will assume the candidate is our own.
