The Role

Seeking a challenging yet fulfilling role? If so we have an exciting opportunity for a Housing & Support Officer to join our Rolfe House Support Living Scheme based in Smethwick. Rolfe House F serves people aged 18-64 years old in housing need, who are willing to engage with employment, education and training opportunities whilst living at the scheme.

As a Housing & Support Officer you’ll work as part of a friendly and highly professional team to provide a safe and supportive environment for our customers, with the aim of equipping them with the skills they require to move on and successfully maintain independent living. You will assist in the delivery of customer specific packages by conducting risk and needs assessments, planning and delivering support, as well monitoring and recording progress through frequent support meetings and reviews. 

Our ideal candidate? You'll have experience of delivering positive outcomes for socially excluded individuals with housing needs. We're looking for enthusiastic, flexible and dedicated individuals who are able to work on their own initiative and willing to work shifts and cover rota as needed. Key to this role is a people focused approach, with the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds effectively and diffuse any given situation.
