The Role
We have a great 6 month fixed term contract opportunity for a Floating Support Worker to join our Birmingham Family Floating Support Services on Lozells Road.
Midland Heart Family Floating Support Service provides support to families aged over 18 years, across the city of Birmingham to enable them to access and/or maintain their accommodation. The service works with a variety of families and provides support for up to 6 months.
Within this role you'll be supporting families by conducting risk and need assessments, helping to set up and maintain tenancy. You'll will be helping families gain access to specialist services and through a range of requirements.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working with families, either gained through employment or voluntary work, demonstrate empathy, passion and commitment to the needs and aspirations of this client group, and manage challenging situations around safeguarding adults and children.
