The Role

Further raising the profile and enhancing the reputation of our sector-leading organisation during an important phase of our corporate strategy. This is the challenge we’re setting the Media & Public Relations Manager who joins us on a 12 month fixed-term basis.

Working closely with the Director of Communications & External Affairs, you’ll be the driving force behind a proactive media, PR and social media strategy which further enhances our reputation; developing and delivering external communications and high profile projects of strategic importance to our organisation. As line manager to our PR and Social Media Specialist, you’ll work together to ensure that PR and External Affairs activities are effectively planned, measured, monitored and reported to demonstrate the impact and return of investment of your team’s activities.

Our ideal candidate? An experienced media and PR professional with excellent knowledge of corporate PR techniques and best practice, a passion for proactivity and a proven track record of achieving high quality and quantity of strategic commentary and media coverage.  You’ll be possess a talent for creative written, digital, social media and verbal communication, as well as the ability to proactively engage with key internal and external stakeholders at all levels to explain complex issues and influence decision making.
