The Role

Do you want to play a valuable role in the day-to-day lettings management of a vibrant inner-city apartment development, as well as a wider diverse portfolio of quality market rent homes across the Midlands? If so we have a unique opportunity to join us as a Residential Lettings Team Leader at our award winning Crocodile Works development on a fixed-term basis until December 2019.  

This is a varied role providing a full property management service including management of rent arrears and court action, void and lettings management, property inspections, assisting with rent setting and renewals, setting and managing service charges. You will also be responsible for managing a small Crocodile Works based team and suite of facilities

Please be advised that although based at Bath Row Birmingham, you will be expected to work across a wider portfolio of West Midlands based properties including those in Coventry, Leicester and Stoke-on-Trent. Therefore, applicants should must have a full driving licence and have use of a car to commute to multiple appointments within their working day. You will also be required accommodate viewings and sign-ups up to 6pm and work on Saturday on occassion.

Our ideal candidate? You should have previous property lettings experience, with a strong knowledge of all relevant duties including robust tenancy paperwork, rent arrears management and legal compliance. Excellent communication skills are key and the successful candidate will demonstrate effective face to face, as well as written communications, with a variety of people to ensure a high quality customer service. You will also demonstrate a proven ability to effectively manage a small team.
