The Role

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, your responsibilities will include but aren’t limited to:

  • Ensuring accurate and timely processing of purchase ledger documentation and payments.
  • Preparation for the generation of weekly payments on both BACS and Cheques.
  • Responding to customer queries with regards to the Accounts Payable department; ensuring all issues are investigated, resolved and/or escalated on a timely basis.

Our ideal candidate? We’re seeking an individual with high-volume accounts payable experience and a sound knowledge of financial systems. You should be highly organised, with the ability to prioritise your own workload and work to own initiative with minimum supervision. With responsibility for handling a broad range of accounts payable queries, excellent communication, relationship building and stakeholder management skills are essential to ensuring a high quality service is provided to customers and all queries are resolved in a timely manner.
