The Role
Do you want to work for an organisation that makes a real difference to the communities that we support? We now have a fantastic opportunity for a part-time (20 hours per week) Domestic to join our Penmakers Court Extra Care Scheme in Smethwick.
As a Domestic you are responsible for supporting customers with their housework whilst maximising their independence, along with providing a laundry service with participation from other staff members. You will also be responsible for ordering, monitoring and rotation of cleaning materials to ensure all communal areas are cleaned to a high standard.
We are looking for people who have:
- Previous experience of domestic cleaning,
- Basic health and safety training and knowledge of using domestic cleaning equipment.
- The ability to work as part of a team and communicate in a pleasant manner with a diverse range of people is vital in this role.
