The Role
We now have opportunities for a Bank Support Workers to join us on a casual relief basis at our Saltbrook Place Supported Living Scheme, based in Stourbridge.
The Role
This is a challenging role tasked with providing appropriate support to a diverse customer group facing the challenges of homelessness. You will work with men and women over the age of 18, delivering support and access to services that enable us to support people with a range of needs including mental health, offending behaviour as well as drug and alcohol use.
The Person
You should have experience of working in a supported living/care setting with vulnerable customers and possess some knowldge if the issues faced by homeless individuals. Through this experience you should have developed excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt your style to the needs of the customer when necessary. Importantly you will have a passion and enthusiasm for delivering quality services to vulnerable people; demonstrating empathy whilst enabling people to maximise their independence.
