The Role
Are you looking for a job that really makes a difference? If so we have an exciting to become a Team Leader at our sheltered housing service Firsbrook House, based in Wolverhampton. The aim of this service is to provide supported accommodation to vulnerable customers with long and enduring mental health conditions - promoting and supporting their recovery and assisting people to live independent fulfilling lives.
As a Team Leader, you will manage a dedicated and highly professional team of Support Workers and other staff tasked with providing appropriate high quality personalised services to customers with a range of mental health support needs. You will be responsible for a range of management and support activities including but not limited to ensuring the requirements of the contract and service specification are met, building a highly capable team through the effective recruitment and performance management of staff, as well as assisting and enabling customers to achieve positive outcomes and move onto and sustain independent living.

Our ideal candidate? We’re seeking a committed individual, with a strong knowledge of mental health needs and experience of working in a Mental Health, Complex Needs, Homelessness or youth accommodation setting. As a manager, you will possess a clear understanding of the challenges faced by both staff and customers working or living within these settings and take proactive steps to mitigate these challenges when possible.
