The Role

This newly created role will oversee the development and delivery of our Health & Safety and Facilities Management services.

In regards to Health & Safety, you will develop and deliver our responses to customer safety issues arising from the housing sector and our external operating environment; ensuring that we exceed safety standards and provide the appropriate channels to engage customers in safety issues connected to their homes.  You will embed a culture of safe working practice across our business; ensuring we have appropriate governance, monitoring and assurance processes in place.

Alongside this you will develop and deliver our workplace strategy which forms a key element of our corporate and people strategies.  You will oversee the delivery of a first class office management service; ensuring our working environments meet the requirements of a multi-generational workforce, enhance colleague wellbeing and engender a culture of collaborative working.

We are looking for someone who has proven experience of successfully leading first class Health & Safety and FM services. You will be able to positively engage stakeholders at all levels including Board members and able to sustain positive working relationships. You will have a proven track record in translating legislation and case law into practical application.
